Children play a primary role in Jesus's teaching on the kingdom of God, yet they are not just object lessons for adults to learn from. Using the Gospel of Matthew, a theology of the child is developed from voiceless victim to triumphant messenger showing the dynamic, multi-faceted nature of the child and their place as the greatest in the kingdom.
