The problem of evil and pain in the world has been a source of much struggle and tension with those who have faith throughout most of human history. While the bible doesn't always give us answers to our deepest questions it does give us a path forward through them . . . prayers of lament. Psalm 13 not only models but teaches us how to pray and worship in times of lament.
